Views From the Fields

Join Jackie Keller as she discusses her role as the Outreach Coordinator for the Kansas Rural Center. In this position, she collaborates with organizations that support farmers and rural communities across the Midwest to promote conservation efforts among smaller-scale, diversified, organic, regenerative, and underserved producers.

As part of the Midwest Agriculture Conservation (MAC) Network, KRC is scaling up to reach a larger, more diverse base of farmers and ranchers, to increase access for small to mid-scale and underserved farmers to USDA’s agricultural conservation programming available through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Discussion will include funding opportunities thru the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), mentorship and success stories.
