Shawna Hartman, Fire Prevention Specialist with the Kansas Forest Service, will be the presenter for this workshop.  With an urban perspective, she will discuss defensible zones around a home, landscape clearance to buildings, fire resistant building materials, especially roofing materials, home emergency preparedness plan, outdoor water source and hose, and more.  A $10 donation is requested, but no one will be turned away for lack of resources.
