On August 22nd, 2022 Kansas Rural Center and American Farmland Trust joined forces to host a seminar on finding land for beginning farmers.

This introductory workshop covered various aspects of finding and securing farmland for new and beginning farmers including: some land access options, assessing the quality of land, as well as the basics of leasing and purchasing land.

The online workshop was immediately followed by an in-person tour of the Lawrence Common Ground plots.
