KRC is Looking for a Few Good Partners… To Help Sponsor our 2013 Farming & Food Conference
Would you like to promote your business or organization to Kansans who are interested in rural issues, farming and local food systems? And, at the same time, support an event packed with information, learning and networking to grow our small and mid-size farms and their rural communities?
Please consider partnering with us as a sponsor or exhibitor for the Kansas Rural Center’s 2013 Farming & Food Conference, Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the beautiful Meridian Center, 1420 E. Broadway Ct., Newton, Kansas.
We expect an audience of up to 250 active farmers, ranchers, community food organizers, wildlife enthusiasts, landowners, health professionals and others interested in farming practices and our local food system. A local foods lunch is included.
The conference will be packed with opportunities to learn about topics such as low-input farming alternatives, diversification for risk management, soil and animal health, local food systems development, health-agriculture connections, beginning farmer and rancher resources, farm legacy transitions for landowners, state and federal farm and food policy and more.
A list of sponsor and exhibitor levels and additional opportunities for support can be found here. Space is limited, and Early Birds will receive a discount for paying by Aug. 30!
