Tell Your Farm and Community Success Story
Telling your story is an important part in educating community members, policy makers, and Kansans about the successes and challenges endured by farmers, business owners, or communities. Your story can help policy makers or other key leaders better understand real situations and the needs that can help strengthen your vision for the future.
For example, as a farmer you might discuss a success you’ve had in working with a grocery store or the challenges that prevent you from selling more to that market. Community members might discuss the challenges and successes of forming a food policy council or a community garden.
Do you want to tell us your story to help support your efforts and the Feeding Kansas recommendations? KRC can help you tell these stories and work with you to determine where and when they are told. Start by using the questions in the link below.
Answer the questions and send to Natalie Fullerton at nfullerton@kansasruralcenter.org. Natalie will follow up with you about next steps and how we can tell your story. Thank you for being a Feeding Kansas Advocate!
