OPPORTUNITY AT KRC
KRC is seeking a part-time person to assist with the coordination of our fall conference /40th-anniversary celebration and miscellaneous KRC administrative tasks.
As we kick into high gear to organize and plan the 2019 fall conference in what is KRC’s 40th Anniversary year, we could use some extra help.
This is a contract position for 5 to 10 hours per week from June through mid-November at $15/hour (or up to $3600 for 24 weeks). Hours are flexible. You will work from your own home with oversight from KRC staff via participation in planning calls and meetings. Tasks include: helping with conference logistics ( registrations, compiling materials sponsor follow-up and tracking, assisting the conference coordinator with some food foraging and planning, technology set up, and helping with media and communications for fundraising. Criteria: Must be detail oriented, and proficient in Excel, Access, and Constant Contact system; and a team player. Must be committed to KRC’s work toward a quality conference and communications, and a sustainable food system. Timeframe: Must be available June 1 through November 12 (Conference is Nov. 8-9) but hours worked are flexible.
