Ranching for Profit Workshops

March 23, 2013

$40 – $50

The Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition (KGLC) is pleased to announce that
David Pratt of Ranching For Profit is coming to Kansas for four one-day
workshops at the following locations:
Pratt – Wednesday, March 20
Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, 512 SE 25th Ave.
Hays – Thursday, March 21 Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill, 3203 Vine St.
Salina – Friday, March 22  Courtyard by Marriott, 3020 Riffel Drive
Topeka – Saturday, March 23 Ramada Convention Center, Jefferson Room,
420 SE 6th St.

Knowing how to raise livestock is not the same thing as knowing how to
run a business that raises livestock. This workshop will show you how to
apply proven and powerful business, economic and financial principles to
your ranch. You will learn the three “secrets” for increasing profit and
how to use production, economic and financial benchmarks to improve your
operation. You’ll see why most livestock operations are structured to lose
money and find out what you can do about it.

Registration is $40 Advance; $50 At the Door. All Workshops – advance
registration cut-off date is March 13. To register call Tim Christian at
620-241-3636, email tdchristian@cox.net or print and mail the pdf form
below to KGLC, 2703 Derenda Drive, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
